| Plot |
| Hired, Part 2 , a short film, enlightens Joel and the robots on the joys of car sales, frightens them with primitive clock-motion wipes, and prepares them for the dark, demonic drama Manos, the Hands of Fate (which is later referenced in Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie ). Using the opening footage as a backdrop, the guys pretend to go for a drive. As Manos progresses to reveal evil creatures, the scientists continue their attempts at manipulation, with Frank breaking into Capra dialogue. Mike Nelson makes a cameo when Joel, Tom Servo, and Crow discuss the scariest possible features of monsters, as inspired by the giant kneecaps of Manos character Torgo. — Sarah Sloboda |
